Archive of influences
Here is a collection of photographs, letters and objects which influence my work.
They represent a persons passage through life and are often the only physical reminders which we have of our fragile lives.
They are often lost, or discarded without clues of their origin.
My mind begins to piece together a narrative or I set out to investigate what may have happened.
The images on this page consist of both family archive photographs and also of images and research that I have collected over the past few years.
In my art work and exhibitions I make models and photographic images which present fragments of information which the viewer has to use his life experiences to form a narrative.
Also in this section is included experimental work such as double exposure images which are a result of bringing together generations of my family who could not possibly have met timewise.
